Thank You!
I want to thank every single one of you who donated, listened, spread the word, or took part in our second Anime Fans Give Back to Japan event. We raised for GlobalGiving’s Japan funds $41,405 total, including $10,705 during the marathon this year thanks to all of your generous help! The anime community once again banded together and showed what they’re capable of! Donations ALWAYS remain open.
GlobalGiving has posted a post on the progress made because of your donations over the past year.
We will be posting the event in its entirety starting in around two weeks on this site and on YouTube. We have saved the full 24 hours to several different computers to prevent what happened to last year’s event. The video of the event has also been recorded, so it will likely be on our YouTube page: http://youtube.com/animefansgiveback and also on our podcast feed (link on the right).
Assuming we do this again next year, if anyone has a cause they feel needs attention, feel free to post it in the comments below.
Thank you all again for watching, and for donating. Bang.

Hello! Do you think your site could write an article about this anime?
It’s calle PES -peace eco smile- http://goo.gl/dJ4R5
I think it’s pretty great and here’s why: As you guys obviously know with the disaster that happened last year, the international media reported on the support of the world and the support of Japan’s citizens. Nobody really panicked and worried, everybody came together to help one another and we should continue to do so.
Toyota embraces the themes of “Loving Humanity” and the themes of “Love” and “Community Bond” are prevalent in the animation. Cars are the tools to carry people and materials from one point to another. Founder Sakichi Toyota’s mission was “to make great contributions to people and society through automobile manufacturing.” In order to provide this sentiment to the next generation and continue to pursue that goal, they teamed up with Studio 4°C and made this anime.
What are your thoughts? Please let me know. Thank you!
Have you uploading any of this years event to iTunes yet? I didn’t see it in your feed there.
